1. Who we are

Pairled is operated by R8 Tech ("we", "us"). R8 Tech is the data controller for the personal data processed through the Pairled service.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, login credentials.
  • Profile and usage data: company profile, evaluations you create, briefs and suggestions you generate.
  • Support data: messages and attachments you send when contacting us.
  • Technical data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, and usage telemetry.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Providing the service and your account (contract performance).
  • Security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection (legitimate interests).
  • Customer support (contract performance / legitimate interests).
  • Product improvement and aggregated analytics (legitimate interests).
  • Marketing communications, where applicable (consent — you can withdraw at any time).
  • Compliance with legal obligations.

4. Sharing of personal data

We share personal data with the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, database, AI model providers (e.g. Anthropic), analytics, and customer support tooling.
  • Merchant of Record: Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle") is our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payments, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing, and related customer service.
  • Professional advisers: legal, accounting, and audit advisers, under confidentiality.
  • Authorities: where required by law or to protect our rights.

5. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

6. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. UK/EEA users may also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority. We aim to respond within one month.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices — to protect personal data.

We use essential cookies required to keep you signed in and operate the service, and limited analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
